Who would have ever thought that drinking Dr. Pepper could lead to my going halfway around the world in just under two weeks on a trip of a lifetime?
Their Indiana Jones contest led to my drinking three 20oz. bottles and entering the cap codes online, which resulted in getting an email saying that I was one of 23 people to be chosen randomly for a trip. Our choices were Egypt, Peru, Jordan, and India. Egypt was chosen back in July, and now we're less than two weeks away from actually taking off on the trip.
My travel companion? My boyfriend Jeff. We've been together for 4 1/2 years, and he's the language and art expert of the two of us. 10 days, all expense paid for the most part, GAP Adventures tour along the Nile River.
