Top of the South
In and around New Zealand
Discovering that two weeks on the North Island cannot do it justice, we were determined to do a better job on the South Island. This trip was to emcompass only selected areas of the west coast and top of the south and would take as long as it would take. Just a few locations were chosen and hostels were booked. Of course we did not take into account that this trip would coincide with Easter, which is sort of the last getaway holiday weekend for Kiwis before winter.
