Nearly there :-) !

Hey all,

Where to start .... Ok, as alot of you whose reading this no - my names Dale Robinson, im 22 and from Plymouth England. Im a wee bit crazy and excitable at times but variety is the spice of life :-) Ive been waiting and looking forward to this trip for years. Now its finally here its amazing and its turned out to be a dream come true, better than i ever imagined it could be, but those of you who dont know what im talking about will find out in good time.

Now for the trip - im leaving in 4 days (17th November), for my 8 month round the worlder and i cant wait. Its taken me over a year to save for my trip but its definately gonna be worth all the hard work. Where am i going? Well first stops Thailand for a month with a special somebody ;-) , we're gonna be volunteers at the elephant nature foundation where we'll spend a week looking after abandoned, miss treated and orphand elephants. Then we'll probably make our way south to the islands :-) before heading back to the hustle and bustle of Bangkok.

After Thailand im over to Oz, where im meeting Crumz,Craig and Beany for a month and a half. The plan is to make our way up the coast from Sydney (New Years there) to Brisbane and possibly further, with a sky dive or two in between. When they leave, im visiting Ayers rock before i head out to New Zealand. I havent got much planned here but im holding on to a very happy thought that i may not be alone! The rest of my trips open too and goes like this - Chile, Easter Island, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru (Macchu Pichus a must) and back to sunny old England where you'll get to here my stories over and over again. Fun fun!

Im gonna be making quite a few entries as i go to keep you all posted, so make sure you check your e-mails and leave me some feed back. Any of you that are on MSN, keep an eye on it cuz you may just see me to have a chat.

Anyway thats about it in a nut shell. Ive gotta go now to pack and re-pack my backpack. See you all soon and keep well.
