This blog is to serve as a means of communication for my friends and family while I am in Uganda. I am very greatful for this opportunity and thankful that God has chosen to use me in this way.

While I am in Kampala (Uganda's capitol city) I will be working in a community center called the Meeting Point. This organization services women, children and orphans who are infected with HIV/AIDS. Some of my responibilities will include teaching and childcare as well as home visits with HIV/AIDS patients. Additionally, I will be studying the work of women activist groups as a special project.

Now I can exhale since you made it safely there. whew!! Thank you Lord for watching over this "child of the world". Please watch over her and her traveling companions. After her work is done please return her safely back to those who love and care so much for her. Have lots of fun Bunny!! Can't wait to see some pix of the Motherland and you too(:>..LOL

My EB! Girl I love you and you are doing it! I look at you as my inspiration and I am the oldest(lol)! When you get back to NAP we gotta kick! By the way I am trying to go to Honduras for my internship or Kenya. We gotta play catch up. Be strong and safe. I know it is hard dealing with that "population" You know I am in school for public health. So being in America seeing us with it is hard. So I know it is twice as hard for you. I'm glad that you made it safely..I'm im sooo proud of you..Keep doing what you are doing..Whats funny is I've been thinking about doing mission work...so i really want to know about your experience.(Some people have tried to scare me)!LOL!!! buT YEAH..LENDING A HELPING HAND TO BETTER THE NEEDS OF OTHERS IS THE GREATEST GIFT EVER...SO CONTINUE TO WALK IN THE PURPOSE GOD HAS ON YOUR LIFE!! lOVE bRITT fITZ!
