Audrey and Mike's road trip 2006/2007
In and around Seattle, United States
2 years ago I had the idea that I would like to experience more of the world. I met Mike not long after and lucky for me, he had a similar ambition. Now, 2 years later, we are on the road living our dream. We don't know how long we will be doing this but our hope is to keep things open ended. We both quit our jobs and bought a van that will be home to us for our North American Tour, but our travels will take us to fabulous rock climbing destinations all over the world. Since we are both climbers, our trip will be primarily about climbing. Mike surfs and I'm learning to surf so expect some surf updates, as well. I'm hoping to find work in my field (software development) while on the road. It's going to be an adventure to find the kind of job I'm looking for, but when I do, I can assure you that this trip will last longer than we currently dare to hope!
I hope my journeling is informative and fun for the reader. Happy reading!
