From China Town to the Land of Snow and Mooses: a cultural trip from Shanghai to Calgary
In and around World
This trip was a while ago now but I figure I should add it in here (plus I'm avoiding writing an essay on Athenian democracy in the 5th century BC). The day after my year 12 results were realeased I jumped on a plane and jetted off to Shanghai with my grandma, her friend Patty and my little cousin Emilie to visit my batty aunt, Kate. After a week with those crazy kids I then frolicked across the ocean alone to Calgary to visit an old school friend and her family for the best Christmas of my life and plenty of snow and skating. A pretty amazing month away and a fabulous way to send of the end of high school.
