Part 2!
In and around World
i am super excited about south america!!! honestly, it didnt really hit me that i'm going until today when i booked my inca trail tour! i've been so busy with school the last 14 weeks...i can honestly say that it was THE worst semester EVER! all nighters started at week 3 (last semester started at week 9 or so), and many many late nites at school and ital which they both eventually became my home#1 and home#2....so so sad! im glad to say that i'm DONE...for now! so i'm packing my bags (again...yes im going again!) and ready for another adventure before graduating (for the second time).
i'm flying in and out of lima and travelling around the area the next 4 weeks. not exactly sure where i will be going...i will have more details later as im booking things along the way. one of the things i wanted to do is the inca trail - i've been told that it is REALLY hard (especially since i am not fit and its high in the moutains with little oxygen) but i'm hoping that i will overcome the challenge. i think its one of those once in a lifetime thing some ppl want to do...its one of mine too!
other than the inca trail, i would love to see the salt lakes in Bolivia, the scenic beaches in Chile, cities like Santiago and Buenos Aires, wine country in Mendoza, Lake Titicaca in Peru/Bolivia...not sure what else but i'm sure i'll find more things to do when i read my guidebook. i'm not sure how fast i would like to travel (i usually am pretty fast but i dont want to be too ambitious going to too many places) so i'm just going to go with the flow...
still not ready for the trip yet (still need proper hiking shoes!!) lots to do from now til then.....so stay tune! :)
