Europe 2005
In and around Europe
Nearly two months prior to departing for an already booked and paid Russia and Scandinavia tour, it was canceled. Unfortunately, I had also purchased roundtrip airfare from Copenhagen so canceling the trip would have presented monetary challenges. It would have cost $500 to change the flight so that was out of the question. AGGGHH!! Rather than canceling the trip altogether, my revised plan then became to go on an Eastern Europe tour and do some exploration on my own' through several countries of interest. I kept the main flight and bought nearly 10 incredibly inexpensive flights within Europe. Even though my Euro 05 travel venture didn’t go as originally scheduled, I improvised just fine.
