Land of the Scots
In and around United Kingdom
When I was assigned to speak on Scotland in my tourism course, I complained, "Aw man, why couldn't I have got an interesting place like Germany or something?!"
That was soon proved to be the most inaccurate thought that ever entered my mind. When I dove deep into this Celtic land, I just knew it was heaven on earth. You could say it was love at first sight...
Nearly three years down the drain (or one Advanced Diploma later), I was still waiting to get my rear end over there. It's all a question of money really, isn't it? Being a student and all - for about 90% of my life, its only natural that I was slap-broke - for about 90% of my life. And I wasn't ready to swim there, either.
My trip was in the makings for nearly a year. I wish I could live there, but you know, having a life on the other side of the world kind of makes it a wee bit difficult. So this particular holiday is limited to three weeks, of which I intend to see as much of Scotland as possible, including a stop-off at the Great City of London.
There are some more pictures I took on my holiday at my Webshots account.
