After I had returned from my first trip I had booked my next trip to Belize within a fortnight. I flew back to Belize for a three week trip in March 2006 and realised, like many before me, that Belize was where I wanted to be. Andrea, I stumbled across your interesting weblog tonight while searching the Internet for “ProBelize” and greatly enjoyed reading your journal. I'm volunteering with ProBelize for a week in mid-February and, with a group of 20 folks from Portland, Oregon, will be building a library near San Ignacio. I’ve never been to Central America, so I’ve been researching it before heading down to get an idea of life in Belize – including Caye Caulker, where I hope to spend a few days after our construction project in San Ignacio. Your well-written weblog has given me a good sense of what ProWorld and Belize are like, though I’m sure it’ll be very different than anything I imagined once I actually get there. Any helpful hints would be appreciated, but either way, thank you very much -- not just for your interesting journal but also for the good work you’ve done there! Cheers, Del Leu (Portland, Oregon) del98052@comcast.net
