El Salvador/Guatemala
In and around El Salvador
I went on my first trip to Central America with my guardian's parents. We visited family from all over El Salvador and took a bus trip to Guatemala.
El Salvador is the smallest country in Central America and this covered is volcanic landscape. Approximately 89% of the population are Mestizo (mix of Indigenous and European ancestry). The country is quickly recovering after a 12 year civil war and is now attracting tourists from all over the world.
