On July 5,2006, I will be traveling from Houston, Texas to Los Angeles and then on to New Zealand, Australia and Fiji.

I hope to take my students along vicariously, as I travel, through the use of this blog space.

Join me for an adventure of a lifetime!

I found a conference I was interested in which included a weekend trip that was all planned. I also knew I wanted to study a couple other areas so used a travel agent to help me book tours and flights to these destinations.

Hello. Congratulations on your trip! I am in the process of applying to go to New Zealand and Australia, as well. Hopefully you can help with some questions I am having. Were you able to travel between countries as a stop-over without paying extra? How did you arrange to visit schools? What were your sleeping arrangements like? Any imput would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I need some pointers. I am writing a grant to submit to Funds for Teachers. I would love to hear the strategy you used. Self-planned trip? Pre-packaged portions? Names of planners? Thanks Jason Atha, Yukon, OK
