Rach on Fiji Time
In and around Fiji
This country has exceeded my expectations – I thought it would be lots of chilling on white sandy beaches with a lot of book reading & l:1 time with my iPod (there have been elements of that) but I’ve done so much more that I can’t believe I’ve only spent 18 days here.
Fiji is beautiful – flying in was breath taking (see photos I took from the plane). The Fijian people are incredibly friendly and the tourists all seem to have adopted this attitude. It didn’t take long for me to understand and start doing things in "Fiji Time".
I’ve split my trip into 3 parts – Nada, Vitu Levu (mainland) and the Islands. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it and am sad to leave but incredibly excited about arriving in Oz after all these years.
