California to Rhode Island 1st Day - June 29th
In and around United States
Our last week in San Diego did not come without a bit of drama. We checked out of the Mighty McCampbell as she headed off to Japan, cleaned our house and packed up our household goods in a weeks time. Also we purchased a travel trailor from a dealer in Santa Clarita and broke a leaf spring driving it home. We weren't sure if we were going to get her back from the the repair shop in time to begin our escape. Last minute call from Rick's RV gave us a hour to drive the 30 miles through traffic to pick it up the night before we needed to pack it up. On Friday 29th of June we checked out and drove out of town at a womping 55 MPH, Kids had a great time as we visited the Scince Discovery Center in Irvine. Then off to Nana's house for Cristines Birthday celebration in Pacoima Ca.
