This is the story of my visit to one of the European Union's newest members, Slovenia. If you love nature in all its glory this is the place for you. Vast forests, mountains, caves, gorges, waterfalls and lakes (including one that disappears!). But be careful when you go, as this trip proves mountains can have heatwaves too.
