From FL to Washington State and Back and along the way.
In and around United States
January 30 (19 days of retirement)
Working as hard as we did when we worked for a living and now we have the time to toss out the old stuff that accumulated over 40 years of work. This is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Getting the RV road ready by taking it to Dave's Automotive to have some more little stuff repaired. Bought a new tire for the spare wheel. Checking out the fluids. hoses and belts.
February 21
Purchased a laptop computer to continue this blog when we begin our trip on April 14. Gas prices rising again and talk of curtailing several legs of the upcoming journey was laid to rest. This is a lifetime opportunity - cannot start fretting now.
Went to Hanna Park in Jacksonville last week with the RV club. Had a blast. Went to the zoo to see darling wife's relatives. RV ran a little warm coming back from Jax. Towing car.
Taking it to Daves Automotive for the final road ready preparation. Exhaust manifolds need inspection and machining, heater hoses need replacing, radiator needs flushing and inspection. Engine light is still lighting up.
