Lenee in Bei-jing

I arrived in Beijing late Saturday 19 january 2008. I found my way through the airport and the visible haze of pollution hanging in the airport air to collect my luggage. I was picked up by James, husband of Julia- the head of the language school where I will be studying mandarin for 3 weeks. After language school my 4-month contract with the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service is set to begin after which I hope to stay in Bei-jing and find a job related to the olympics which will be celebrated in August.
