Mc Henry Boat Camp

We had signed up to be a Camp Host at Mc Henry Boat Camp through the Army Corp along the Stanislaus River in CA. Boy, what a disappointment. First our satellite system did not work! Too many tall trees in the area around the Camp Host spot. 2nd, the Camp Host spot was right at a Park, where people pick nick, B B Q and drank a lot of beer! The bathroom had no supplies and when question about this, they seem to say the people distroy and use it up so why bother! The "Boat Camp" campground, was around the bend and hidden, quite a hike to check on and could not see from the Camp Host spot! The River for the Boats, was about knee high and muddy, no boats, but rafts! The Rangers lock everyone in at night and open in the morning around 6 am.  This was nothing what we had sign on to! We left the next morning.
