In and around Asia
Although we had not originally planned to come to China, an invitation to Xi'an for Chinese New Year was hard to pass up, so we didn't. We were sitting having dinner in Siem Reap, Cambodia talking about our hopes to go to Xi'an and we figured we couldn't go to China and not see the Great Wall. We finally figured it out, we would fly to Beijing and then take the train to Xi'an and have the best of both worlds.
Once in Ho Chi Minh City, we made our way to the travel agent and made everything official. A plane ticket in my hand and a visa in my passport made it very real that we are going to China. After talking about it for so long we were actually going!!
It's now time to enjoy the sights and stories from our trip to China...
