The Ghanaian Experience

In and around Ghana

A first time flier, on a trip to Africa?  That was one of the first of many thoughts I had as I learned that I was lucky enough to be sent to Ghana through the PASSHE Honors Program.  This African adventure was full of cultural immersion (a traditional naming ceremony, for instance), great people (street vendors and government officials alike), and many life lessons about economic development (my major and area of interest).  The Ghanaian people, whose warm hearts and open hands accepted us graciously, will be the marker of a milestone in my life forever.  Follow along on my first real-world experience in the field of development economics.
