going to China and India with Hillary! Thanks Tristan, Richard and Keiko for taking care of the old bag o' bones!
Day 1: On the airplane, flight United 869 Actually slept some which is just so unlike me, and made the lady in the aisle seat get up about six times to let me move around. I don’t understand how people can sit for 15 hours wit out stretching! I stood in the back of the plane for a bit and read the newspaper. Met a girl because she was tearing things out of the front page section of the Chronicle and I made her let me read it first. It was a graph of different country’s change in emissions in the last 10 years. Turkey’s had gone up by 75%! She was going to a climate change conference in Shanghai. Just when the conversation was getting good tho, the tall male flight attendant came and told us we had to sit down…. Turbulence. I haven't left the US in such a long time and really have never spent time in a non-western country. I really dont know what to expect. Everyone says 'you'll get sick in India for sure' I'm hoping Hillary and I are the execptions!
