thailand on a budget

I've just finished uni and my parents bought me a ticket to thailand for my graduation. Luke graduated last year and has been working but quit his job to go on this fun filled adventure lol. We were at uni together and neither of us have much money so not sure how long we will be out there but we are not known for being the most sensible with our spending so it might be as long as a week. We have planned to just travel around, have a laugh and hopefully have some really good experiences. We want to stay out there for a few months so plan on being sensible, not going mad and not drinking all the time, if you know me and luke you know this won't happen. Thailand here we come
