Almost there....

In and around Netherlands

Well I am almost packed and ready to go. Today I visited the shoe repair man, the bank, a few stores, and a few friends. The euro is at $1.33 per U.S. dollar and it was difficult for me to part with my money, however as colorful and pretty as the euros are I am growing to like it. Tonight is a quite evening with my family, wine is on the menu!

Hi Megan - so glad to hear from you. Have a solution to the loud noises in your room. GO OUT AND BUY A PAIR OF EAR PLUGS - they take a little getting used to - but they are great....I use them all the time...Feel like I am in the country with you - your reporting is great!!!!
