Kathmandu to Lhasa and Back
In and around Asia
In late June 2006 I set out a group of nine fellow Australians to Kathmandu. From there we flew to Lhasa in Tibet and after four days of sightseeing there, we began the 1200 km drive back across the dry Tibetan High Plateau passing Chomolangma (Mt Everest) and back to Kathmandu.
