Bali, Indonesia: Both the Most Beautiful and Most Annoying Place We've Travelled to Yet
In and around Indonesia

After 6 months and 9000 km of living and travelling around Australia it was time to say goodbye to Oz. This marked the end of one major portion of our travels, but also marked the beginning of another portion: our Asian portion. For this we were pretty excited.
Bali was to be our first Asian stop (if you don't count the week we spent in Taiwan to start our trip back in October). Bali is known for many things, particularly the sun, sand and it's Buddhist / Hindu religion. Unfortunately it's also become synonymous with terrorism, notably the "Bali Bombings" of both 2002 and 2005. As a result Bali's tourism industry was incredibly hard hit. Visiting this beautiful part of the world was our way of lending a helping tourist hand.
