Wanting to go to Burning Man but not wanting to build structures, plan food etc, me and my friend Jessica took a three day Green Tortoise trip to the festival. Wonderfully amazing during the day with art shows and different activites, and just riding bikes in the desert, extremely out of this world at night. Lights,  the almost full moon, bikes and colors everywhere, not to mention the night of the burn.

Favorite quote from Jessica: It's funny, but with all this, I still find the moon amazing.

I've broken the trip down day by day. If you want more info on the art pieces, history of the festival, etc, I will try to include some soon, but visit their site, you'll get a sneak peak of next year's theme:

On kind of a somber note, my brother is also in the desert right now in Iraq. I was a little bit grumpy from just a little bit of heat and dust - it made me realize better what he goes through everyday.
