This time we're headed west for Tokyo, Japan. We plan to tour around for 11 days with the help of friends who live there. We certainly need that as we know absolutely no Japanese!
8/3-8/4
This is travel day. Tony and Alex are taking a 11am flight on United so they can make use of Tony's miles. I am taking Brevan and Coby on a later flight on NWA at 2pm. Lucky me... Alex reports that he was a bit bored as there was no in-seat entertainment center as on NWA. Coby and Brevan did fine watching cartoons and movies for the 10hr flight.
Before I arrive, Tony and Alex are able to settle into Narita airport and find some sushi to eat for dinner. They hang out at the United Red Carpet club.
When the rest of us arrive, we hop a bus over to Shibuya where our friend, Mary Lou picks us up in her mini (or micro as compared to US cars!) van. She treats us to some cold noodles and we hit the sack.
