Maiden Voyage of the Pop Top
In and around United States
Within a few weeks, Bill and I will be headed from the Bay Area to Longmont, Colorado to pick up our new camper, the Popping Top, and from there we will be travelling across the States at our own pace, stopping when we want for as long as we wish. We'll be packing our cameras and art supplies and looking for adventure at each turn of the highway. We'll also be learning how to live with each other in a "contained environment" of approximately 10 x 5 ft.
Our first stop will actually be a four hour backtrack to Aspen, CO, to attend the Aspen Ruggerfest from September 13-16. Our son, John, plays for the Glendale Raptors. Glendale, Colorado, is the first US. city to build a stadium just for rugby. The sport is growing in this country and Glendale will soon become a destination for teams from all over the world.
Please feel free to join us on our journey....
