Rach's travels around South Island, NZ
In and around South Island, New Zealand
I've got just over 2 months to travel around New Zealand with a uni friend who's out here wanting to do the same after completing his Rookie course - now a certified snowboarding instructor!
As far as I can tell, NZ is a big kid's adventure playground with more adrenaline and varied extreme sports than any other country! It's also stunningly beautiful - words that I've overused already but this place really is out of this world.
2 months is going to go far too quick and will eat the biggest hole in my budget, but worth every penny!
Oh - and here's my adrenaline activities checklist:
Ariel sightseeing (heli/plane), Bungy Jumping, Canoeing and kayaking, Caving, Horse riding, Jet-boating, Marine Mammal Watching, Mountain Biking and cycle touring, Paragliding, Rock Climbing, Ice Climbing, Sailing, Scuba Diving/snorkelling, Skiing and Snowboarding, Skydiving, bushwalking, White water rafting, Windsurfing/ kiteboarding, Zorbing.
