Down Under 2006/7
In and around Auckland, New Zealand
This trip commences on 1 November 2006 when we will be flying from London to Tokyo for 3 nights. From there to Australia with an overnight stay in Auckland, New Zealand. In Oz we will be starting at Adelaide and will make our way in stages to Brisbane where we have tickets for the first Ashes test between Australia and England on the Sunday (Day 4) - if the match lasts that long! En route we will be visiting many places including Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, the Hunter Valley and Byron Bay.
We leave Oz on 30 November to fly back to Auckland for a stay in New Zealand of about 6 weeks including Christmas and New Year in Dunedin with Aunty Iris.We will be visiting many places in both islands - the total of stays is 18! There should be plenty to write about.
In mid-January 2007 we move on to San Francisco for 3 nights enroute for London and home - 11 weeks away in all.
Watch this space for the details of our trip as we live it (or when we can get online).
