Clist Trip to Europe 2007
In and around Europe
Hi all, we have been planning this trip for several years and it originally was going to be a full year, but practicalities overtook romanticism and here we go on a 10 week adventure. We are starting out from Auckland with Shannon, our 18 year old daughter, who will travel with us until Venice, when she and another friend are to back pack around Greece, before returning to England. Anyway, our trip is to major on Italy, where we will spend 7 weeks, including time in Rome, Sorrento, Montefalco (a small Umbrian town), Venice and lastly Milan. We are visiting some of the places that Kathy grew up in and meeting a number of very old friends of the family from that time. We are also going to have a week in Paris and I am planning to be in the Champs Elysees for the final stage of the Tour de France. Then we are off to England for 2 weeks, spending time with family and friends in Devon and London.
