Life in Kabul

In and around Afghanistan

Well, I had been trying to establish my blog site in English for a long time, I tried several times and failed.... but I hope this time I will continue to keep my daily life up on my blog.

I arrvied in Kabul in 2006. Now I am entering my 9 month here, enjoying my life here in Kabul even though the seculity regulations are really tight here. Since I have frineds in different countries and can not see each other often, I hope this Cafe-Nyayo site will help us to communicate more closely.

I am heading to Kabul May 7th for two weeks (and then possibly for 9 months thereafter.) I am curious of what to pack? Is Kabul like most other capital cities with markets with Western items?
