Greece May 2006
In and around Greece
I write this journal to document what will be one of the most memorable vactions we've ever been on. We chose Greece because of its wonderful weather, stunning sights, beautiful beaches and amazing history.
Eric & I are so excited for this trip...It means so much to both of us for so many reasons. First of all it's the first time, in a long time for me, since I've been out of the country - 21 years to be exact, that's if I don't count Canada. Second, we are celebrating my 31st birthday and Eric's 32nd birthday. And finally, it is our 5th year wedding anniversary.
We leave on May 22 at 5:25 PM from Newark, NJ to emabrk on a 7.5 hour plane trip to Rome, Italy. From there, we take another 1.5 hour trip to arrive Athens, Greece at 11:30 AM, local time. Our itinerary will be as follows: 5/23-25 Athens; 5/25-28 Santorini; 5/28-31 Mykonos.
My hope is that every moment gets even better than the one before. Because I am sharing this with my favorite person in the entire planet, I'm off to a great start.
