7.12.06 Still waiting for Dave to find time to get his picture taken for his passport. Everything else is pretty much ready to go. Grandma Jo and Grandpa George are coming to stay with the kids and Scout. Luggage purchased (super lightweight) clothes chosen (again, lightweight and mix and match). We are each taking a wheeled carry on and a shoulder bag...that's it! Anything we purchase in Paris, we will ship back. Trying to keep this simple and low stress. Our itinerary focuses on daily museum/cathedral visits, walking tours and culinary exploration. Nights we are leaving open depending on weather and energy level. We have reserved a special dinner cruise on the Seine the evening of our anniversary and received approval for one of the VIP tables up front to celebrate the occasion. Should be VERY romantic...after all...that is the point, isn't it?!?!
