Packing Up.
In and around India
I have always known I wanted to study somewhere and figured if I am going to go to another place, I might as well pick somewhere that is completely different than my life in the United States. Tomorrow I'll be on a plane to India! I will be living in Jaipur, Rajasthan (northern India) for a little less then 5 months. I will be spending the first couple of weeks living in the city and going to classes, then the second half of my trip doing an internship with an NGO possibly in a rural town. I found out a few days ago that I will be living with another girl from the U of M with a single woman named Sunita Bapna. My bags are packed, malaria pills are down the hatch, and now i'm just waiting to head up to Minneapolis and fly out. I'm going to try to write every week or so to keep you all updated on my travels. I'm getting really excited for my new adventure....
