A Window to my Roommate's Soul
In and around Norway
I went to Norway the summer following junior year of high school to see where my roommate, Katinka Dankel, lived. I wanted to shake the hand of her mother, break bread with her father, and generally inhale the essence of Norwegian life. I was in a bit of a daze following a rigorous exam period at school, and so I don't believe I received the experience as truly or as completely as I might have otherwise. Nonetheless, I now regard Norway to be the most beautiful place I've ever been.
