A photographer and his assistant perform salsa dancing in micronesia
In and around World
Why are we off again this time, is it just to escape the hectic world of moving house and having a job after 1 year of working in England?
Nope, this time its a celebration, Lizzi's brother Paul is marrying Taoata and they live in Kiribati.
Where's that you may ask?.... Well its in Micronesia, find the Pacific ocean on your globe, find Fiji and Hawaii and somewhere inbetween there surrounded by the Marshall islands, Christmas island, Samoa and the Solomon islands lies Kiribati, formally known as the Gilbert and Ellice islands when once a British colony. The wedding will take place on an island called Tarawa, although Paul and Taoata work on Abaiang.
Why Kiribati?... Well that is where Taoata is from and where they live How do you get there? It takes 3 days whichever way you go, so we have decided to go to Melbourne first where we will be visiting a friend of ours Brooke, then we have a night in Fiji before flying to Kiribati, after the wedding we return to Fiji for a day before making our way to Vancouver, and home in time to complete and move into our new house!!
What's this about photographer and salsa dancing? Simply Nick is going to be photographer for the wedding with his glamorous :-) assistant Lizzi and Paul has also requested some Tango or Salsa dancing at the wedding, in amongst the traditional dancing!
We can't wait!! So watch this blog!!...................
