70 Days in Southeast Fantasia
In and around Southeast Asia
We are a couple in our 20's traveling on a shoestring budget around 5 countries in southeast Asia. We've got 70 days to make it over ~7000kms, from the northern hill tribes of Vietnam to the shimmering skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur and everything in between. By my calculations, this means that we will be nearly killed by at least 4 tuk-tuk drivers, will inadvertantly offend at least 3 temple-caretakers, will have 69 days of diahrrea, will eat around 20kgs of rice, and will have to learn how to go No.2 in a hole on the floor...sweet. So, for those of you planning a trip to SE Asia: I hope this blog is helpful for you planning yours; and for our families and friends: stay tuned over the next couple of months and enjoy!
