Our Trip Begins

It is finally here! I know we've been talking about it for years, but now we are finally leaving to experience life in New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia and India, with the potential for a quick stop in St. Lucia, W.I. on the way home.

We leave for New Zealand February 6th and Sean begins working February 12th. The contract there is for 6 months, which will be immediately followed by work/play in Australia for 6 months. Following our year in Oceania will be travels throughout Southeast Asia and India, hopefully visiting friends and Indira's family along the way. As our final destination we plan to stop and do a few weeks of volunteer work in St. Lucia, W.I. in the eastern caribbean, a location where Sean spent a month during his medical school training.

We are very excited to begin our journey and hope that you follow along with us as we create this travel journal.
