Meeting our sponsored children

Still in the planning process of this trip at present. We've paid for the major flights which ended up being rather more expensive that I had anticipated. We depart Albany, Western Australia on Tuesday 13 Feb 2007 via a Skywest flight to Perth. We then fly out of Perth via Thai Airlines at 4:50pm arriving Bangkok at 10:45 non-stop. I've never been to Bangkok but it's a very popular destination so I'm really looking forward to checking it out. I hope the current take-over coup has settled down by then. We stay overnight and virtually the whole day in Bangkok and depart at 10:30 pm Wednesday 14th Feb arriving in Colombo, Sri Lanka, our primary travel destination at 12:25am on Thursday 15th. What a god awful time to be arriving anywhere! We then stay in Sri Lanka for 4 days visiting Pamunugama girls home where Janine sponsors a girl and sight seeing. They say Sri Lanka is a beautiful country. We are in no doubt about that and will keep you all updated as to where we go, what we see and how we feel about it.
