U. S. Open Tennis Tournament

In and around United States

Three-quarters of a million fans enjoyed the U.S. Open this year, making it the most heavily attended sports event in the country.  And the prize money isn't too bad, either.

Today, according to the USTA, the US Open offers more than $20.6 million to a field of more than 600 men and women.
