After having seen so many pictures of the famous church on the lake at Gugane Burra we decided we should go and have a look. The park was well set up with several trails, although we were amused in the way the tracks were made. Instead of the usual, trying to preserve the enviroment and go around trees, it looked like they'd sent a bulldozer right thought he middle knocking down trees all over the place!
We strayed from the track and went up along the tops from where we got great views out towards Bantry. Rose found a great way down to the car, but Marc wasn't so keen on scrambling down a waterfall, so we continued on. We managed to find a very civilised route back down where we barely even got wet feet.
