Let's try the Caribbean - Antigua with a 1 and 3 year old
In and around Antigua and Barbuda
Steve likes deep sea fishing. We all love Fiji. Fiji is a long way away. The Caribbean is closer...So, it made sense to try out the Caribbean for a holiday. Trouble was I couldn't find anywhere suitable for us - with the beach close by and a decent hotel.
Well one day I found a really good deal to Antigua. It was right after the murders that happened, so prices were down. We figured why not give it a go. The hotel wasn't what we would usually go for - we are self-confessed snobs when it comes to hotels, we either go camping or want 5-star luxury. But this time we booked into a 50 quid per night 3 star resort.
And we are travelling with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Well they are 4 and 2 in Dec/Jan, so not quite as bad as you might first think. But hard work nonetheless. Here is my blog of the trip.
