Last years trip (2007n December)
In and around United Arab Emirates
My first taste of travelling to watch my son play cricket came in December 2007. the trip was for Durham under 17s to The United Arab Emirates.
The team stayed in Dubai and travelled to Abu Dhabi each day for their games.
The boys stayed at The Rush inn a bit of a seedy place but the dads all stayed at the plush Royal Ascot Hotel.
