The Traveling Claire
In and around North America
From January until May I am studying in Merida, Yucatan in the south east part of Mexico. I am taking Spanish, Culture and History Yucatan, Service Learning, and Ballet Folklorico at my school and Contemporary Mayan Literature at the University of Yucatan (UADY--"Waudy"). Between classes and exploring Merida, I plan to travel around to the ruins in the neighboring states and maybe see if I can get to Mexico City and/or Belize. W´ll see what happends!
