Another year and another walking holiday with my usual band of friends. This time we headed up the country to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Unfortunately the weather in September can be relied upon to be ... unreliable! Still if it hadn't been such a wet year, would the countryside have looked quite so lush and green? Or the waterfalls quite so magnificent? Ah yes, I am ever the optimist!
