Goodbye Brisbane...hello adventure

Well...I spent my last day in Brisbane. I really didn't sleep well the night before...not sure if it was the continual rain all  night or the chillier than normal weather or what...but anyways...tossed and turned all night. It was probably the anticipation of the adventures that await me during the next 9 weeks.

Chris (Anna's dad) didn't work today due to the pouring rain (he's a brick layer) and Danute (Anna's mom) is still out on medical leave after having some surgery, so they were both home. Spent most of the day chatting with them, watching tv, sleeping and reading. It was a pure bum day for sure. I really had planned to walk down to the local mall and just beebop around...but that was out of the question. In fact, Danute worried about me all day as I just didn't feel like doing anything. Finally at 5:00 p.m., I ate some dinner (for you hillbillies...that's the evening meal). I hadn't realized that I had not ate a morsel the entire day. It's only because Danute fixed some chicken, potatoes and salad and she absolutely insisted that I eat.

When Anna come home from work, she ate dinner and then we headed to the airport.
