1	Cessnock	Mar 01 '07	First stop. Cessnock "It cost us AU$45 each and for that we called in at 5 winerys and tried over 35 types of wine. The last stop was a cheese tasting and chocolate tasting."

3	Manning point	Mar 05 '07	Manning point. Stop three. "Going to Manning point was well worth while diversion from the main route."
4	Port Macquarie	Mar 06 '07	Port Macquarie. Stop 4 "The place is really good if you're into surfing and there was a lot of guys out there on the waves."
5	Arakoon	Mar 07 '07	Stop five. South West Rocks
6	Byron Bay	Mar 10 '07	Stop seven. Byron Bay "The main Beach is great. We'd go down every day, no matter what the weather, for a walk, swim, sunbath, sleep or all of the above."
7	Yamba	Mar 10 '07	Stop 6 Yamba "The Kangaroos were quite tame and aloowed us to get very close to take their picture."

9	Surfers Paradise	Mar 17 '07	Stop 8 Surfers Paradise "One of the things we were looking forward to trying was swimming with the dolphins but this had sold out by the time we got there."

12	Hervey Bay	Mar 24 '07	Stop 11. Hervey Bay "we got free drink and food all day and the group was smaller with a better 4WD truck."
13	Bundaberg	Mar 25 '07	Stop 12. Bundaberg rum town, "It was cool to watch about 100 of these cute little turtles race down to the surf and out into the wide Pacific Ocean"

16	Airlie Beach	Mar 30 '07	Stop 14. Airlie Beach "I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. It was better then the marketing stuff and people say. White haven beach is jaw droppingly beautiful."
17	Mission Beach	Apr 01 '07	Stop 15. Mission beach. "Mission beach was dead nice and we would have liked to spend more time there."
18	Cairns	Apr 02 '07	Stop 16. Cairns. "Cairns is a very transient place and it's very easy to get chatting to people and everyone is very helpful with advice based on their own experiences."
19	Cooktown	Apr 04 '07	Last stop on the East Coast. Cook Town. "The view probably hasn't changed that much since Lieutenant Cook himself stood there trying to see a way out of the reefs and sandbanks."
20	Uluru National Park (Ayers Rock)	Apr 06 '07	Uluru National Park. Brilliant! "Watching the sun rise over Uluru was fantastic and awe inspiring."
21	Melbourne	Apr 09 '07	Cool Melbourne "Ok Sydney's like a new Volkswagon and Melbourne's like a classic 1960's one is that a bit better?"
22	Great Ocean Road	Apr 16 '07	The best road in Oz? Probably......... "A memorial should make people think. While we were driving along as well as appreciating the fantastic views"

27	Invercargill	May 01 '07	Stop 4 Invercargill "We're planning on using Invercargill as a base while we explore some of South/Central South Island."
28	Te Anau	May 02 '07	Stop 5. Te Anau. "It was a great day and I think it's the best way to see a place. In a small group at ground level not from the top deck of a power boat. Lots of people were all in there laughing, joking, singing and swapping stories after finishing whatever tours or excursions they'd done."
29	Queenstown	May 03 '07	Stop 6. Queenstown. Adventure capital? "It is a real cool town as well, with an energy about the place, that probably comes from all the adrenaline junkies around the place."
30	Mount Cook	May 05 '07	Stop 7. Mount Cook "This is another one of those places that we both could have spent about 2 weeks (at least) exploring, treking, camping, kayaking, climbing. Two days was no where near enough."
31	Franz Josef Glacier	May 08 '07	Stop 8. Franz Josef Glacier "We also managed to save ourselves about $200 which is how much we would have been charged for some one to come with us."

33	Wellington	May 12 '07	Stop 10. Wellington city "Jo and I spent the day exploring the city on foot and visiting the various galleries and museums."
34	Napier	May 14 '07	Stop 11. Napier. "In the morning though we got up and went to have a look around the town, as you do and were surprised at how pretty the place is. All of the buildings are art deco and in really good condition."
35	Taupo	May 16 '07	Stop 12. Taupo Lake. "There was a lot to see and we spent over an hour there. We had some fun with the video, and camera, performing scenes from the lord of the rings (badly)."
36	Rotorua	May 17 '07	Stop 13 (unlucky for some). Rotorua "At the end of the Haki the cheif explained all the moves in the Haki and what they all meant. We could feel the air and the ground vibrating around us. ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC."
37	Auckland	May 18 '07	Stop 14. End of a road trip
