"Terrific place for airport access. Auckland is a pleasant half hour away by bus. The rooms are clean, there's a pool and laundry. The host and hostess are wonderfully helpful, cheery and accommodating!"

Dirty, smelly, well worn, over priced, in need of a right good clean. The staff on reception and the manager were rude with the customer service skills of a potato.

Sanctuary is a floor in the hostel that is for females only plus they give you a few extra goodies. A towel, shampoo and conditioner and free bubbly down in the bar. Can't argue with that!
