Last Stop in NZ

Well.. we left Paihia really early because Chris Ashford (came from Christmas.. and saw him at the wedding) lives in Auckland and was going surfing early in the morning.  We somehow found his place with very few directions and a barely working map.  He picked up his friend Scott and the four of us headed out to Piha the surfing spot near Auckland.  Chris actually thinks he is a formula 1 driver despite owning a wagon.. but we did managed to keep it on the road.  The two of them surfed as we hung out in a cafe and took some pictures.

We then went for Krystal's favourite, the mussels at the Belgian Beer Cafe.  The beer there might be the most expensive on the planet so we moved on to another pub downtown before heading home for some much deserved rest... on the floor.. :)

Jess is at home in England right now which means it was just Chris and his roommates at the house.  The next day we went to the famous Auckland museum and toured around downtown Auckland.  The weather was really bad but it was ok.  The museum has some impressive Maori exhibits.

We ate dinner at the house and headed to bed.  Big hugs in the morning and then to the airport for an 11 hour flight to Asia... ooooo

To be honest we are both a little nervous, but it should be ok.. right?
